Pet Portraits
From the moment a pet joins our family, they become a part of us; an extension of our heart and soul. Let me combine my love for pets and photography to create lasting memories of your beloved family friend. The studio will come to you at your home, at the park or any location of your choice, where your pet feels most comfortable. Pet portraits are taken of all types of animals including dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, reptiles, rabbits or others.
We want your photo session to be fun and stress free for your pet and you, so here are some tips to consider when planning your session:
You should bathe and groom your pet the day before the session. Make sure toe nails are trimmed. You may want to bring along a favorite blanket and/or toy(s); anything that will make your pet feel comfortable. Check your pet's collar to be sure it is clean and in good condition. Bring treats that are cut or broken into very small pieces (cheese, hot dogs, moist dog treats). Make sure you pet is exercised before the session begins but don't wear him out so he wants to sleep through the session.
Pet portraits can simply include the pet(s) or family members may join in the session. Family members should choose clothing that will compliment the color of the pet. If your pet is black, don't choose black clothing.
